1. Chris

I really like making own book. !!!
Actually, I have a little delayed child in my institute.
He has a lower attention on study. So I want to use that activity to him.
I expect him that has a lot of attention and pleasure.

2. Amie
I think she is really good at teaching in phonics.
Most of students don't know about the phonics and sounds of alphabets.
They just memorize all alphabet characters without sounds.
If I use that activity in classroom, all students can easily understand the relationship between sounds and characters.
And Amie excellently use the character, sound and drawing.
Students can remember the sounds, character and the related other vocabulary.

3. Ellen
When she asked group work for discussion, she gave example sentences and blank between that sentences.
I think that is very good point.
If teacher just ask group work to 3rd or 4th elementary school students, they don't know what to do.
But she gave some examples, and students can use that sentences.
That can even block they are out of the point.
It was interesting to show their results in front of the class.

Hi Julie,

Thanx for the reflection. I'm glad you are learning useful ideas to use in your classroom. Did you make the book yet with your student? I think its fun and valuable to learn new others from each other. Seeing ideas in action helps us to remember activities much better than just reading about them.

See you Saturday Very Happy
